Base Basics

Base Basics is FREE on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month! Any other time is $40 per class and must be scheduled a minimum of a week in advance.

Rope bondage and suspension is a beautiful way to connect with your partner, however it can be dangerous in many circumstances and it involves a mental game of power exchange which enhances and intensifies our play.

Therefore, we feel it is important for informed consent for all of our students to take this class which focuses on the risks of this type of BDSM play, and offers and in depth look into how to mitigate the risks to help ensure enjoyment of the art.

In this class we cover risks, some anatomy, some medical information, basic ties, standard equipment, safety equipment, consent, and negotiation.

This class is not intended to give you ALL the information you could ever need, but it is a starting point for you to seek out more information on the things you want to do. Ya don't know what ya don't know, and this class is intended to inform you about the things you may not know. This class is also intended to weed out those who don't care to take rope seriously, and perhaps even scare away those who don't care to accept the risks.

In this class you'll learn why I say that "Bondage is Power Exchange", and "Suspension is Edge Play".

Prerequisites: A desire to learn rope bondage, and a desire to play responsibly.
