What happened?!
We’re rallying around a talented member of our community, Brandon, also known as Gunphantom. Recently, his truck was broken into, and all of his precious rope gear was stolen. This wasn’t just any gear—it included his carabiners, rings (including the unique TearDrop), 35 hanks of shiny nylon and neon posh rope, and more. Brandon has a distinctive decorative tying style that truly stands out, making the loss even more heartbreaking.
Originally, a GoFundMe campaign was shared by a dear friend, Ky, to help Brandon replace his stolen gear. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we reached the $1,200 goal. It was a beautiful moment that proved to Brandon that people truly care. Unfortunately, GoFundMe unexpectedly stopped the fundraiser and refunded the donations, claiming a policy violation we strongly disagree with.
About This Campaign
It’s a shame that this happened, especially after some of the funds had already been given to Brandon. He received $360, but he still needs to raise $840 to fully replace his stolen gear.
